The Portrayal Analysis Of The Wild Hearts CanT Be Broken
Andrew Young once said, ââ¬Å"Theres no problem on the planet that cant be solved without violence. Thats the lesson of the civil rights movement.â⬠Throughout any movement in U.S. history, including the Civil Rights Movement people had to make sacrifices in order to fight for what they believe to be right. Some people even lost their lives, which are some of the sacrifices Pink is trying to tell us in her song, but she never will give up not matter the circumstances. The song, ââ¬Å"Wild Hearts Canââ¬â¢t Be Broken,â⬠relates to the Civil Rights Movement because they both represent how groups of people never gave up for what they believe in. Throughout the song, ââ¬Å"Wild Hearts Canââ¬â¢t Be Broken,â⬠Pink talks about the rage, terror, and sickness that isâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Some examples of these were: African Americans canââ¬â¢t play together, they canââ¬â¢t attend the same restaurants, schools, or even restrooms, and that white nurses in h ospitals canââ¬â¢t help an African American male. At the beginning of his campaign he wanted three things to happen: Bring publicity to major civil rights activities and efforts, emphasize and encourage the importance of non-violent protest and resistance, provide leadership to the African-American civil rights movement. He did just that throughout the Civil Rights Movement, and was a major contributor to the ending of the movement in 1968. In both the Civil Rights Movement and the song ââ¬Å"Wild Hearts Canââ¬â¢t Be Broken,â⬠they both had to make sacrifices, but neither of them stop ped them from reaching their goal. By never giving up for what they believe in, African Americans in the Civil Rights Movement, and people in the song, ââ¬Å"Wild Hearts Canââ¬â¢t Be Broken,â⬠both made sacrifices for they believe in. In the song, ââ¬Å"Wild
